The Sedlec Ossuary, popularly known as the Bone Church, is one of the world's most extraordinary and haunting landmarks — a small Roman Catholic chapel in Kutná Hora, Czech Republic, decorated with the bones of 40,000 to 70,000 people. Located beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints in the historic Sedlec suburb, the ossuary is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kutná Hora. The elaborate bone decorations — including a magnificent chandelier containing every bone in the human body, garlands of skulls, and the coat of arms of the Schwarzenberg family crafted from bones — were created by local woodcarver František Rint in 1870. The bones are the remains of victims of the 14th-century Black Death plague and the Hussite Wars of the 15th century. This immersive 360° virtual tour lets you explore every corner of this remarkable chapel from your browser, completely free.
